What is he hiding under that sweatshirt? Your Condition Yellow has served you well thus far. #3. Condition Orange To continue the example, you now realize or sense that the person in the sweatshirt is following you to your car and, from his body language, you can tell that he is up to no good. His hand is moving to his waistband. Sensing an imminent threat, you are in Condition Orange. #4. Condition Red You now see the threat and recognize the need to take immediate action to insure your safety.

MALFUNCTION: An operational failure of a weapon usually caused by operator error or faulty ammunition. MUZZLE: The open end of the barrel of the weapon out of which the bullet exits the firearm. PIE OFF: (pie a corner) A movement technique of incrementally sidestepping around a corner to safely clear the other side of that area. PRESENTATION: The moving of the weapon from the holster to the point in position. Also called the DRAW. +P: A classification of ammunition that is loaded to a higher pressure than standard factory loads.
